Doug Golub

Doug Golub has spent his career leveraging data, technology, and innovation to help people live more supported, empowered, and included lives. As Principal Consultant at Data Potato LLC, he focuses on using data-driven solutions to improve health outcomes and enhance services for individuals with disabilities.

Doug’s journey in Medicaid and health innovation began while pursuing his Master of Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he worked as a Direct Support Professional supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and brain injuries. In 2003, he co-founded MediSked, one of the first electronic agency management platforms, helping service providers better manage care. His expertise in Medicaid Redesign, Advanced Payment Models, and Integrated Care Coordination grew when he returned to MediSked during the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, focusing on improving care while reducing costs. After selling MediSked in 2022, Doug turned his focus to AI, analytics, and data strategy to enhance person-centered supports.

Doug is a sought-after speaker at conferences, sharing insights on enhancing health-related social needs and using AI to improve lives. He is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, deepening his commitment to innovating solutions that improve support systems for people with disabilities.
